lol I say no but I give them a $5 or $10 donation. They get so little from selling each box - I don't remember the amount, but I was suprised at how low a percentage it was.

I think they only get something like 25-50 cents a box.
I also said no but gave my nieces troop a donation.

A troop can easily make $400-500 cookie profit with a motivated group of girls, which is usually used for some kind of troop activity or trip (my troop, when I had one, spent the money on things such as a trip to Mammoth Cave).

I bought two boxes today from a Cadette (middle-high school) troop cookie booth. But I have two teenage sons, so I don't have to worry about what to do with the cookies.

My daughter is selling them for her Brownie tropp. last year I bought dozens of oxes to help out, not this time! I will, however brave the wind and rain in front of my local Albertson's and sell as many as I can!
