Water logged
I had wondered and wondered if I was drinking to much water. I drink crystal lite with triple the amount of water....Like one package makes 6 quarts.
Anywhoo, I drink and drink and drink. This has been a lifetime situation. (I've tested for diabetes, and it's negitive) I calculated that I drink 200 oz most days. I've always been a big drinker--when I drink liquer, pop, wine--it's like I have what I called competitive drinker disorder, I would drink whatever (pop, water, booze) like it was a race. Uncontrollable thirst....totally.
Anywhoo, after being in continued ketosis since Jan 5 until 2 weeks ago when I stopped being in ketosis for NO reason.
A few days ago, I just felt bloaty, like nothing was moving out of my system, (urine or otherwise) just like I was filling up, so I slowed my drinking (of everything) to ONLY 64 OZ in a day--I've lost 5 pounds and I'm back in ketosis (via the strips)
Moral to the story--You CAN drink TOO much water and your system becomes water logged, and sometime it needs to be just dried out.
I feel a lot better and I've uped my drinking to 100 oz now.
