Default prawn cocktail...

i havent tried this but this is how my friend makes her prawn cocktail (shes not low carbing) but she prefers it this way and its lower in carbs than mayo with ketchup (unless you get low carb ketchup)

she has mayo then adds tomato puree (which you can get as low as 0.5 per 100g) then adds some white wine vinegar.

I had to look at this thread - w/ prawn cocktails always being inviting.

No reason what you have posted wouldn't work ......... personal preferences being what they are, I would go for low carb ketchup w/ lemon and hot sauce or horseradish.

You don't indicate where your homeland is located - so this info may or may not be helpful.

Netrition.com carries Walden Farms 0 carb ketchup and some grocers still carry Keinz 1 carb ketchup.

I have found the Heinz Lo-Carb at Hy-Vee Store if you happen to have one locally.
For cocktail sauce, I just use the Low-Carb Ketchup & add horseradish, and I can't tell it from the store bought sauce. Have it at least 3 times a week cause I'm addicted to shrimp!
