I would suggest you stick to the "book" version of Gittleman's Fat Flush, rather than someone else's version, however well intentioned. The original plan
is LC, so there is no need to modify it.
I can understand your wanting more fruit and veg, however I hope you realise you can actually have lots of vegies on Atkins, not just 2 cups salad and 1 cup "other" veg.
Do you use

I easily eat 6 or 7 cups of vegies a day and still have to work at keeping my carbs up.
A while ago I worked out how much I could eat while staying on Induction levels.
Here's an example of what you can have:
2 cups lettuce - remember iceberg lettuce has fewer nutrients than lettuces such as romaine - the ones with darker leaves are generally better.
½ cup peppers
½ cup cucumber
1 cup cherry tomatoes
1 cup broccoli
1 cup asparagus
1 cup cauliflower
2 fluid ounces heavy cream
According to Fitday, this gives you a total of 31g carbs, 12g fibre - making a total of only 19 useable carbs
