You might want to have a look at this site that was posted just yesterday. I think its pretty good. For induction ideas too.

Thumbs up site

Thanks for the site. I went and found some wonderful recipes to help spice up my induction. I will leave the cookies and candy and dessert until later.

Smile Welcome

Angdan40 Welcome,
I am on my 4th day of induction. I have never lost any hair but I have found it more oiler. I just wash it more often. This site is wonderful. I would recommend that you go to journal/bootcamp and start your. It has helped me to stay focus. Welcome again.

This is the first I've heard of potential hair loss!!!

I haven't noticed it happening but then I haven't been paying that much attention either.
Is this something that happens only during induction or can it happen anytime???
Really need to know as my hair is not real thick to begin with!!
And yes, I did notice that it was a little oilier---- blamed it on my rinse!!

Thanks in advance....
Ellie

Default hair loss

Ellie,
I have been on Atkins before and I did have any hair loss. I have not spoken to anyone that has. I think it an individual thing . My sister is also on Atkins and her hair is real thin and have had no trouble. She has also notice her hair is more oily.
But she was glad to see it because her hair is real dry.
I hope this has help ease your mine.

the only time my hair seemed to fall out a bit more was after my longest lapse! And my hair and skin are much less oily than before--and no acne, not even TOM acne!

I do believe that no matter how I've eaten, my hair always has gone through phases of shedding, where I worried that I was going bald...then it goes away. I've read about stress and delayed hair loss...maybe that's it. Or maybe we just periodically shed?
