Default How Long?

I'm pretty new to the whole LC thing, though I've read Dr. Atkin's book. I must've misread because I thought I was permitted to have veggies with my dinner while on the Induction diet. I have been eating CC celery and cauliflower like crazy! Do I need to cut that out for a while and just eat salad?

Also, I was wondering how long I should stay on the Induction diet. I have about 90 lbs. to lose...should I wait until I've lost 20, 30...?

DANDR says under "Rules of Induction - #3"

>>Eat no more than 20 grams a day of carbs, most of which must come in the form of salad greens and other vegetables. You can eat approx. 3 cups--loosely packed--of salad, or two cups of salad plus one cup of other vegetables (see list of acceptable vegetables ...)<<

And as to how long you should stay on induction - that depends on you - it's stricter, but you might loose quicker, OWl has more food options, but it may slow your loss. (Note: I said "may") - every body reacts different - find out what works for you - what makes you feel good and what you can live with.

Thanks so much for the reply. I think I've just read so much since the book that I've confused sources. I'll adjust my plan accordingly.
