ALA on Atkins

Can I take Alpha Lipoic acid on Atkins? Or will it mess up ketosis?

I do not have my copy of DANDR in front of me at present, Quinadal, but I am pretty sure that ALA is a supplement that the Dr. recommends you take. In the CKD forum it is a supplement that is used to help you get into ketosis faster - I doubt it would kick you out of it
