I have enjoyed reading the Low Carb forum to the extent that I have decided to join all of you in an attempt to loose weight. I have been stuck at a high since I had my baby 19 months ago. I really want to fit into my old clothes and even smaller ones. I noticed that no one has mentioned exercise. Do most people exercise in addition to this diet or does the weight come off regardless?

Smile I exersise

Hi Jenny,
I do exersise as much as I can, mostly 5 days a week about an hour of cardio a day. Then to the weights but I don't spend alot of time there, maybe 30 mins. I work with weights for different things every day so I do that 5 days a week too...
I have noticed that I don't lose as much weight but I lose many more inches when I work out. And for me, I get more motivated by that !

Just remember to drink more water when you exersise and start slow espeshly if you haven't done it in a while... You will make your insides healther by exersising!!!

Good luck and I want to hear how you are doing...

Actually we have a forum dedicated to exercise. My favorite exercise is brisk walking 30-60 min a day. I also weight lift, gaining muscles helps speed up your metabolism.
