Need ideas for a cheese fondue...

OK, so now I've revealed my age.

But I've been invited to a Memorial Day get-together and would like to bring a gruyere cheese fondue -- thought it would be fun, and I haven't gotten out my fondue pot since the early 70's. Since I won't be indulging in the traditional french bread to dip in the fondue, I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas to substitute.

I was thinking about getting some low carb bread, but does anyone have any other ideas?
