Default Water confusion??

I am re-reading my CALP book and they only mention drinking a minimum of 6-8 glassses of water a day. This would be 48-64 oz. I am reading in other posts the ratio of 1 oz per lb of body wt (or of weight to loose, I'm not sure) But either way this would be 200 oz for 100 lbs to loose. Where does this number come from and is 80 oz of water a day eneough?

cogin,

I can't answer your question. I don't know. But what I do know is that the more books that I read and the more I learn....the more I discover that everyone has a different opinion.

I have been draggin my water bottle with my everywhere I go. I seem to drink more if I just have one around all the time. I take it to the garden, the store.... the movies. Everywhere.

I drink tons of water without a problem. Love it!
