Default When Cooking with Oil...

When you cook with oil or butter, how do you count the fat? All of it will not soak up in the food. Should I just pour the remaining fat into a small dish and dip my food in it to get all the fat in?

Probably another silly question from me.

Hi Rick! Not a stupid question. I make sure I measure how much oil I put in. Then after I cook I measure how much oil was left over. The difference I count. I don't eat the brown oil (remaining) if I fry because it looks awful. Hope I helped.

Peace
