Question Am I doing something wrong?

I did induction for about 2.5 weeks and then decided to add more carbs to my diet through flaxomeal cereal and upping my veggies mostly. I've also added in macadamia nuts and more fish. After induction, I had lost about 4.5lbs. (My stats over there are a bit off. Now I'm 185/175/150) Since increasing my carbs in the past 2.5 weeks, I've lost another 6. Is this normal? I thought adding carbs slowed weight loss. Although I initially started this strictly as a diet to lose weight, my slow start made me re-evaluate my motives to view this as a WOE... I must mention, I feel great and I figure all the flax and soy and fiber have to be good for me as a woman, especially. Can anyone advise?

Everyone's body is different and we each see different results at different rates. Whether your rate of fat loss has stayed the same, increased or decreased is really hard to say since it is easily masked by short term fluctuations in water weight and longer term changes in lean muscle mass. If you are feeling great and making progress, that is the best indicator that you are doing something right. Although, at your weight, I wouldn't recommend sustaining a 3#/wk loss rate much longer (and you probably won't).

Good luck.
