Talking Introducing myself!

hi everyone!

I am in my fourth week of Atkins. Lost 15 pounds in the first 2 weeks, then lost NOTHING the 3rd week! UGH! But Im staying on!! Haven't cheated once and am so proud of myself LOL!!

I am 32 years old, married, stay at home mom. I own an animated signature website that does fairly well, helps pay the bills!

After having my kids I just haven't lost any weight and I am hoping this diet works for me. It is a great diet! I'm really happy with it, though I admit I am confused sometimes on whats okay to eat. I bought some low/no carb goodies, but not sure if they are really okay to eat everyday. Especially since I didnt lose anything the third week. I bought the shakes and Atkins bars. I also tried snacking on Pork Rinds. But not sure if those are okay and how many are safe to consume at a time! LLOOLL!!!

Thank you for listening and I am very happy to meet you all!!!

Welcome!

I also didn't lose in part of my induction! This is normal. Try measuring yourself as well. I found that I lose either weight or inches, but not both at the same time. I would rather lose inches anyway!

Hi Jenijeni !
Welcome to the forum of LC'ers !
I don't eat the bars and shakes at all. I 've found the best way for me is to keep it really simple...eggs,meat,cheese,veggies. I do eat pork rinds occasionally..but the sodium in thim causes me to retain water.............
Good luck !

Welcome Jeni!

I have only been on Atkins for 4 weeks and the only thing I can say is that others here tell me to stay away from any low carb treats..for awhile anyway. Stick to plain and simple and then as you add one item, you can see how your body reacts to it.

Drop in anytime..good luck!
