Default I think my husband is coming around!

My husband, who started Atkins when I did but did not even last through induction, is coming around, I think. Last night, he made the most awesome LC coconut almond chicken (based on a very sweet Malaysian dish) for dinner ... so good. (Next time we make it, I will get all the ingredient amounts right and post it here.)

Anyway, we were eating, and I was talking about LC stuff, and he mentioned that when he eats "this way" (no bread, etc.) that he does feel a lot better. (He has fibromyalgia and is in pain quite a bit.) I mentioned to him that he could try Atkins for life, and he said that yes, he could try that and work down from 60 carbs a day if needed. I know that's not ideal, but I think induction was very hard on him because of the fibro.

Anyway, I think he's going to be LCing again soon, guys!

That is great! When you can do this as a team it makes it so much easier. Having him start at OWL or even maintenance type levels are better than nothing and men have such an advantage that he could easily lose weight at 60 carbs a day. My dh is at maintenance now and is probably around 75 to 80 carbs a day easy. Good luck
Marie
