I have 2 people I like to surprise. My daughter who lives on the westcoast and I have not seen for two years is coming next summer for a visit. She has been asking for pictures but I told her I'll take some but don't pose. She's seen me at 258 lbs last.
Also my sister will come next year who lives on the Eastcoast (I live in the middle) She has not seen me since I started this.
I am now down 46lbs and I know there is a big difference already.
I can't wait to see their faces.

I've not tried to intentionall suprise people, but there are people who work at my company, but in different locations, and while I talk to them on the phone, I rarely get to see them. In the last few weeks I have seem them, both reacted with a visable start. One even said "My you have changed alot".

If I hadn't known any better, by their intense reactions I would have thought I still had one of those "beauty" masks on my face.

I haven't told anyone except DH, of course. He is dieting with me. I have so much weight to lose that I know it will take a while before people really notice. I'd rather just do it quetly and let everyone make nice comments when they notice. In the meantime I am happy wearing a size smaller pants.
