Default Water Retention

I have been on induction for 4 weeks now and I am loving it! Except, for the water retention. I have cut out bacon, hot dogs and pork rinds because they seem to make things worse (It has been hard to stop eating the pork rinds because I love to have something crunchy and they are an easy afternoon snack). Does anybody have any suggestions about how to control the water retention? I am drinking well over 100 oz of water and the bloating is so bad it is hard to force the water down. Please help

Like you said i would try to reduce things they may have lots of salt in them... I have found out that many things already have loads of sodium in them.. i use to retain alot of water weight ... especialy around TOM... I just have to force that extra bit of water down to get it to shooooooooosh... I also switched to lite salt or no salt.. has less sodium.. and has the potassium that we can use... i am like you i love my porkrinds...

Have you tried cardio? When I'm holding alot of water I will do some cardio and try to sweat it out.

Maybe it's all in my head but it seems to work for me. Continue to drink alot of water so that you stay hydrated.

I found movement (after you cut back on sodium) is the only way to cut down on water retention - - so take a walk, do some exercise, and stop drinking water after 8pm (or at least 2 hrs before bedtime).

I agree with everything except the stop drinking water part. I actually lose more water weight when I have water, even at night. I ALWAYS drink a few sips after every bathroom break to encourage my body to let a few more pounds of fluid go.
