In canada at least it is found in any grocery store. It is a sugar replacement. It's ingrediants is maltodextrin and the nasty sodium cyclamate. Splenda is the sugar replacement most atkins users use. You can buy both in little packets or a box and both splenda and sugar twin can be used for cooking, baking and sweetening anything you want--just like sugar.

In Canada, Twin is made with cyclamates, in the US it's made with saccharin. And yes the brown sugar version of both is good Some folks find that it can have a bitter aftertaste when used in larger amounts. To get around this in recipes .. try mixing it 50:50 with splenda. In fact, you'll probably find you can get away with using less sweetener overall. For example, if the recipe calls for ½ cup sweetener, you might find that a few Tbsp of each mixed together is just right

Safeway-I use brown Sugar Twin 50/50 with Splenda in my cheesecake and there is not a bitter taste. My non-lc friends love it!
