Talking Hello, starting tomorrow

Hey just decided after many starts and stop on diets to try this. My job keeps me on the road 350 days a year so I am excited to see if this will work for me. Any info on the Atkins diet and how people do it on the road would help!!!

Welcome to the forum, Hoagie.

The best source of information for your plan is of course the Book. I suggest you make it your best friend for the next few weeks - and don't leave home w/o it This board is a great place to supplement that information and to receive advice and support. Have you checked out the thread called "Hot Links!" in the Newbies' Questions subforum? It would be a great place to start. Many of the topics that will arise during your first few weeks are covered there in previous discussions.

Ok, so I have been in induction for 4 days now, and have kept ot my carb limit (amazing since I am always traveling and usually eat out). I don't get to weigh myself often, but I do know that this is working. I can tell in the looseness of my pants and just how I look. I have just one question, I don't feel nearly as bad as most of the people who do induction say they do, am I just lucky, or do you think I am sneaking in some hidden carbs somewhere?
