Default anyone have a LC sauerbraten recipe ?

I've tried the search tool and it gives me a long list of threads, some of which have many pages, but no indication where in a thread such a recipe may appear.
I've got some frozen beef roasts it's time to get used up and sauerbraten is one of my favorites. The regular recipes (non-LC) all call for crumbled ginger snaps which would shoot the low carb diet right in the foot.

Hi - I haven't tried this recipe yet but it looks good - albeit different than traditional sauerbraten. http://www.lowcarbluxury.com/newsle...vol02-no09.html It's down far on the page with some other beef recipes

thanks a lot. I'll try it. I already started marinating the roast in essentially the same kind of marinade, minus the Splenda, which I can easily add.
I was wondering how to get the ginger in without the snaps and am thinking I can at least cook in ground ginger when it is cooking.

I think with the splenda and the ginger you might get the flavor you want. Let us know how it turns out!
