Angry Just so mad!!!!

I want this to work so much, but there it is - PROGRESS = 0%!!!!! I love low carbing, I work out so hard, and yes, I am seeing results since I upped the strength training - my arms are bigger. Yikes! That's NOT what I wanted!!! I am supposed to be shrinking!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUGH! Tomorrow, no, right this moment, I am starting super-strict induction - no cheese, no mayonnaise (oh how will I do it? I love mayo!) no cream. Veggies, leaner meats, fish, eggs. Something's gotta budge, and it ain't gonna be my goals. I feel fantastic, but I want this layer of fat GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On Memorial Day, I am wearing a 2 pice bathing suit for the first time since I was three and NOTHING WILL STOP ME!

Whew. Thanks for letting me vent.

Hi.

For what it's worth, if you're a brand new LCer, chances are your body was deficient in protein for quite some time. Now, it's making up for lost time and rebuilding muscle and other tissue. Don't worry, the fat WILL come off, you just have to be consistant and persistant.

The bad news: that last 20 lbs can be tough to lose.
The good news: at least you're down to the last 20 lbs!

If your arms are getting bigger and the scale isn't going up, then you are making great progress. You are burning fat while gaining muscle probably.

Have you been measureing? go to www.mybodycomp.com to keep track of measurements and body fat.

Remember it's not weight we want to get rid of, it's fat. A higher lean mass means a higher metabolism, less cellulite, a sleeker more toned look, and better circulation and health

I think that the body firming up is MUCH more important than what the scales say, so hang in there, I am sure you will see a loss soon

Rather than leaning down the meats etc. Have you considered UPPING the fats? Many lose far better when their daily fat percentage is over 70% rather than under it.

I personally would bring back the mayo....
