Question when is spring gonna show up?

hi debbie,

I'm in southeastern Ontario, it was 4 C. here, but really windy also. Still need the gloves, and a hat too, once the sun disappears. Also quite a bit of snow around still, but it is melting gradually, and the lake is showing some open water.

I'm smack in the middle of maple syrup country and from all reports, this sounds like it's going to be a boom year. Bwaa haa haaaaaa!!

tina, i'm so sorry! i didn't mean to be so rude! i know that we have lots of american friends here too! i should have phrased the question "we live in such a big continent." i certainly didn't mean to exclude my american friends or all the international friends. i think it's fun to know what the weather is like everywhere! (i like watching the weather channel!)

Thumbs up Nice in Vancouver....

Mix of sun and cloud today, mostly clear. We're like Victoria - we've had spring flowers for weeks and the cherries are in bloom. Last week was steady drizzle and grey, so it was particularly nice to see the cherries against the blue sky - one of my favourite sights, and so fleeting!

Default weather or not!

Well, yesterday I changed from my snowboots to heels at lunch....carried the boots home. This is the first time I've had no snowboots on for MONTHS!!!!! There is still a lot of snow around, but it's been sunny and mild...and the streets and sidewalks are finally bare. We have a lot of snow to melt, so hopefully we skip the flooding and the swimming pools in the backyards and basements.

I live about 25 minutes from Sauble Beach.
