Smile 1.6# loss! More in inches, tho

Just completed induction with a total of 3# lost. According to the Atkins book, I must be high metabolic resistant. However, I'm satisfied that I lost at all. And my measurements are coming down...a total of 2-1/2" this week.

I had a real moment of weakness last evening and wanted to have a cheesburger (w/bun!) instead of the haddock, salad, green bean dinner I had planned. I overcame it, tho, and have new resolve this morning. Since my weight loss is slow, I think I'll continue on induction at least another week and see what happens. I have 20# to go til goal, and I understand that my weight may come off a little more slowly than if I weighed more.

Didn't drink quite as much water yesterday, so I'll concentrate on that today.

Congrats! You are doing well, but the most important thing here is that you are sticking with it...hang in there, for some the beginning is slow but hopefully it will pick up. Good luck and Congrats!

With only 23 pounds to lose, you will lose less than other people. People can generally expect to lose 10% of the total weight they want to lose during induction. That would be 2.3 pounds for you. You are ahead of the curve!

Measurements are more important than the scale anyways.

Good job resisting temptation!
