Default Hi from Japan

Hi,
I started Atkin's on November 12th and lost 6.7 kg (14 pounds) in the first 2 weeks. I feel great. I swim for 30 minutes 5 days a week and haven't had this much energy for years. My blood pressure has dropped considerably and I'm hoping to reduce or even stop my medication in the near future. I've lost my cravings for sweet food and don't feel hungry between meals. Although food is always on my mind, these days I find myself planning my next low carb meal and new kinds of low carb recipes instead of a high carb binge.
Living in Japan, I am having fun learning how to read the Japanese labels. I found FitDay from reading through this forum and it's a great help. I can input the info off the Japanese labels and create my own custom foods.
Anyway, no doubt I will have some questions in the future and look forward to being a part of the Lowcarber forums.

Simon.

Those profiles don't tell much. I am a newbie and never been overseas at all as an adult. Whats the traffic like and when you go for a jog, is it like... crowded in the park?

Another thing we have in common is this non-metric stuff. In the old language I think you lost a full stone since you started. VG!
