Question Low-carb tortillas and SBD?

I've hit too long of a plateau on Atkins and am considering a switch to the South Beach Diet. I'm trying to get up to speed on the differences between the two, but am curious about some specific items.

How do you assess foods against SBD? Specifically I'm looking at La Tortilla wraps. How about Splenda?

Any info would be helpful. If the differences are substantial and I need the book, let me know. Alternatively, point me in the right direction for information.

Thanks

Most people are confused by SBD because there aren't as many rules. Basically it gives a general idea of foods and lets you go.

I would read the book, only so you have it handy to look up accepted foods or to just get some of the reasoning behind it. It does not address some of the science quite as much as say, protein power, but it will work for most.

I think low carb tortillas and splenda are perfectly acceptable.
