Default soy milk

I have found a brand of soy milk that contains 8 carbs a cup. HOwever, some version of cane juice is in the ingredients. Do you think this is safe. I am not in induction. Has anyone had any experience with it?

I'd avoid it.

There's unsweetened soy milk, and Soy Slender (sweetened with Splenda).

Both have 1g carbs per cup.

You can certainly drink it, but don't be surprised if you get bumped out of ketosis or get cravings from the insulin spike. Cane juice is sugar.

Soy slender also tastes a heck of a lot better, just like regular milk. The higher carb ones usually also have wheat, barley or other things added that give them that nasty "soy milk" taste. You can find soy slender in the baking isle of some Albertson's. They don't have it here and I'm really bummed about it. I loved that stuff and would drink it often. I got one that was 8g net carbs and was going to use it sparingly, but the taste was so nasty I didn't touch it and threw it out when it got bad.

For those people living in Northern New England, I found it recently at Shaw's, in their Wild Harvest section.
($0.70 cheaper then my local low carb store, too.)

Soy Slender is indispensable if you're trying to enjoy some Keto cold cereal.
