Default breakfasts and binges

i thought i wrote this letter and posted it yesterday, but i must have goofed up somewhere. any way, HELP! Please. i went off big time last week bread, candy pasta it all tasted great but now i feel guilty and do want to be"good" again. my questions are:
1) how long can you be on induction, and is being so low on fiber good for our intestines?2) What can you eat for breakfast tha is not eggs, eggs and cheese,or bacon and eggs? i'm concerned about cholesterol. can you use the atkins hot cereal when on induction? at least that's high in fiber. thank you for any help.

First of all.... relax.

You asked good questions because you are back on track again.

Re: eggs and cholesterol. What you (we all) have been brainwashed with just isn't the truth. Or how could all of us eating diets of 65% fats a day have better blood pressure and cholesterol results. If you like eggs... eat eggs without worry. If you don't like eggs, get off the "breakfast" foods mindset and eat whatever you would eat at any meal. Have some grilled meats or chicken salad w/ lots of mayo. Think outside the box.

Re: Fiber... considering it is mandatory to eat 2-3 cups of veggies daily we are all getting healthy fiber each and every day. In the book you may have forgotten - the doctor recommends taking a fiber supplement though daily. He uses psyllum fiber husks and adds to water. I take psyllum fiber capsules daily and have never had an issue.

Re: cereal in induction? These are the Allowed Indution Foods I believe totally that you should stick to it 100% for two weeks.

This is really very healthy - as your body will tell you after a true induction.

All the best to you.

I say eat the eggs, cheese and bacon and enjoy!!

Ikon is right, it was all brainwashing.

I started Atkins in April of 2000 and my cholesterol was 265. I was also a diabetic. I'm glad to say my bloodowrk amazes my doctor to this day!! My cholesterol now is 177. And I take no meds for my diabetes and have cut WAY back on my Asthma meds as well.

I chalk it all up to eating eggs bacon sausages and cheese!!

Go nuts...you'll be glad you did.
