Default Newbie Introduction

Hi Everyone,

My name is Sammie. I am completly new to Low Carb diets. I will be starting a PSMF diet in 2-3 weeks as soon as the doc gets the required lab work. I'm kind of re-hashing what I wrote on the newbie board.

I have 129lbs to lose so I guess that puts me in the TDC. I look forward to losing weight with everyone here.

Sammie

Welcome to the TDC board, everyone on this board is really helpful and don't be shy to ask question. Someone usually has or knows the answer.

Welcome to the TDC Sammie! This is a great site for support.

I would encourage you to start cutting back on the carbs now and not wait for your official start. It will really help you get over the cravings quicker and easier when you do start. When I started, I just cut my carbs back to 150 per day, then a few weeks later to 100 per day, etc. I gradually eased myself into the lc lifestyle.

Welcome Sammy. All of us here know what it feels like to come to the realization that we need to lose a lot of weight. This is a great place to learn about those issues and become successful.

Welcome! You will find this a pretty fair place to spend a while: nice folx, nice food, the best support on the planet. If you don't see what you want just raise your hand and the waiter will be around to take your order shortly. (Ot if that does not work just leave a message in here and someone with experience toward your question will answer.)
Good luck to you!
