Question Burnt Cream (Creme Brulee) recipe needed

I'm looking for a low-carb recipe for Burnt Cream. Has anyone tried this? Would it work if you just substituted Splenda for sugar? Would it work with Stevia instead of sugar?

Thanks!

You can use any existing recipe you have for creme brulee and substitute artificial sweetener for the sugar in the recipe. But, sadly, there will be no brulee possible without sugar.

Rumor has it that Somersweet can be caramelized, but I've never tried it.

Thank you Karen

I think I'll try it with stevia and possibly Somersweet for the brulee, and let folks know how it turns out.
