Hi dbb,
First, I want to strongly reccomend reading Dr Atkins latest book, New Diet Revolution. Your first step would be induction and that is 20 carbs a day, you also want to make sure you drink lots of water. Atkins way of eating isn't just cutting out the carbs, there is a lot more to it. I'm sure you'll find the book very interesting and you can also find a lot of info on this website. Good luck and Happy Low Carbing!!
