Default Thanks...

Just wanted to jot down a quick thanks to everyone who's answered my post. You're all a super help. Day four has gone well...no problems. I haven't had anymore leg cramping since I increased my water intake, so I'm hoping that dehydration was the culprit. Also, since I've upt the water, my ketones went back done to low/moderate, so that's better. Still purple, just lighter. Since I can't eat pork rinds, its a little hard sometimes trying to find snacks that take the place of chips and peanut butter toast, but I'm surviving. I went by my local health food store and got some ideas on things I can add later, after induction. She even carries Atkins Protien Bars...I'm going to try the homemade version first, though...they're expensive. The scale read another pound dropped this AM, however, I'm sticking to tallying only once a week. Well, that's about it for now. Thanks again.

Thanks for the info, LWB. I will definitly keep that in mind. I'm thinking more along making my own, that way, I know what's in them. Atkins were going to be a backup for long road trips and outtings.

I stepped on the scales again this AM...boy, I wish I'd stop doing that. Anyway, the news was good...it read another pound dropped, so that's 5 pounds so far (from 260 to 255), on the start of my 5th day. A pound a day...not bad. I'm gonna go work in the yard and get a little exercise today, so that will be nice. Exercise is my biggest dilemia...I'm not an exercise guru...UGH!! -- my hubby is helping with motivation though, so that's a big help. Talk with you later.
