As for where to hold this get together, Vancouver! Just kidding, won't be fair to everyone. So here's what I propose:

1. The town that holds the most local low-carb events, will be the chosen location.

2. Each gathering must of 3 low-carbers or more.

3. These events must announced/organized by our forum's members from that region. No point travelling all the way to meet with people we don't really know?

How's that?

Maybe there could be regional ones? I would love to go to Canada, mind you, but I might not be able to work it.

BTW here is a hug graphic I worked out, Tamarian, use it if you like. They are just too small to make it look like a real hug.

I like both of those ideals. I would be willing to travel a goo distance...with enough notice. We would just go on our vaction...thats all!

I am in Southern British Columbia, and would be interested in attending within a certain radius...say 8 hour drive? Vancouver definitely, nothern States. Keep me posted!

Could possibly make it up to Canada on a weekend..... though it is a pretty long haul! hmmmm, I still think a yearly get together is a good idea!

Am interested in learning what kind of a programme would be arranged on an annual get-to-gether?

i live in ajax. i think i could manage toronto! lol!!! for those who don't know the area, ajax is part of the gta, greater toronto area.
i don't fly though, so i'm pretty limited to where i could go.

And I would be welling to come to canada! Really! I would, if I new that this could be a full get together.
I would love to talk to as many of you as I can...in person. Plus I think it would be very motavating on top of it. Besides...I would love to see canada.

I used to live in Houston! That is where I met my husband...now we are in Canada...
If I can travel to Texas so many times, of course you can come to Canada! LOL
