I joined up the other day, and spent some time looking around before I decided to post.

My name is Lulu (really it's Mary Lou). You can see my stats to the left... or check out my website for my story and photos. I'm 45, single, no kids (just cats), and live in San Diego.

I am so impressed with this site. It is so organized! I'm sure it is a lot of work, and so thanks to TPTB for your dedication.

I am a veteran low-carber, I do this more for health than for weight loss (though I would like to lose more weight, I am not a slave to the scale). Being fairly new to San Diego, I am attempting to pull together a local support group, like the one in Arizona that I was involved with when I lived there.
