Lightbulb How many carbs

HI guys,
When ever I start the atkins I"m never sure how many carbs i should allow myself everyday.. I weight 251lbs and my goal weight is 130lbs. Does any one have any ideas for me. I think it's 20lbs but I can find my old book

If you are on induction it's 20 carbs a day.

This list of induction allowed foods can get you started but you really should read the book.

Thanks I thought it was 20lbs I just wanted to make sure. I live in an apt and my old Atkins book is at my mom's house so I will be going there to pick it up today. Thank for the link

Be sure to take a look at Fitday (www.fitday.com). It REALLY helps with the carb counting.

Cool How many times (death had an impact)

HI this is my 4th time on it LOL... I was doing great on in it 2001 Then my father was killed 9/11 at the pentagon and I just couldn't stick with any diet or change of life style. So now I'm ready to change my life and be healthy.. I need to be i need to be strong for my family and heathy. =). After my dad died i gained 40lbs in a very short time and now I have gain almost 60lbs.. Oh well I'm trying and that's all i can ask for . I take it one day at a time. Wish me luck all
p.s God grant me the serinity to accept the thinks that I can not change the courage to change the things that I can. and the wisdon to know the difference Amen!!!!!!!

Wow, I'm really sorry about your father. At least the entire nation was grieving with you and your family. Congrats on jumping back on the bandwagon. (I hear 4th time's a charm.)
