Question Measuring Lettuce?

I am on Atkins, day three. I have been faithfully trying to eat only 3 cups of lettuce per day, how important is it to keep to the only 3 cups?

The world as we all know it will END if you do not eat exactly three cups . . . KIDDING! If an extra cup of lettuce gets you through the day then by all means go for it! If you are going to eat a little extra then vegys are the way to do it. Ever seen a fat rabbit? <grin> And good luck on your weight loss.

I always ate more than 3 cups a day and it never slowed me down.

Lettuce is so low in carbs that it is almost a 'free food'. You'd have to eat about 3 heads of Romaine or iceberg to do much damage.
