Default CCARB Study

Has anyone signed up for this? I just did and was accepted so all I have to do is mail in the forms. Anyone else wanna be a guinea pig?

https://epi.aecom.yu.edu/studies/cc....asp?studyID=2/

The purpose of the CCARB Study is to investigate the weights, eating patterns and lifestyles of people who use low carbohydrate diets. We hope to follow each participant for at least three years. We are looking for participants who will complete the questionnaires for three years whether or not they continue with a controlled carbohydrate diet and whether or not they maintain their weight loss.

The research is being independently conducted at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and has been made possible through a grant from the Dr. Robert C. Atkins Foundation.

All individual Registry information will be kept confidential and will not be traceable to a particular individual. The results of the CCARB Study will only be reported as group results. Participants can complete all questionnaires for The CCARB Study online.

I signed up back in April. I've done a few of their questionnaires. Its kind of neat and they send newsletters and other info periodically. Can't wait to read the results of the study once it is completed.

Me too!

I'm seeing my doctor next week so I'll get the official H&W then.

Do you guys feel like you want to be 'good examples' of how this WOE has worked for you? I do.

Thanks for posting about this, 2MuchPizza!

That's what I was thinking too when I signed up. Good incentive to keep chugging along.

I've signed up for it too! I agree that I would like to be a good example -- a "poster girl" for this WOE.
