Default Starting Again

I am starting back on the LC WOE, I was on Atkins in the past and was pretty succesful but went off and ended up packing on 40 pounds. I'm up to 330 (pretty good guess but unconfirmed because my scale, like most, can't go that high) and know that I must lose a lot of weight or suffer physically and emotionally until a probable premature death. I welcome as much support as people would like to give...

Thumbs up

Hi Jeff, you've made a good decision to join this forum. Every success with getting stuck into low carbing again.

This is a great site for information and advice as well as support and motivation.

I would recommend that you start a journal on this site. In that way, not only will you have a record of your progress, but there is the information available for others to offer you support and advice. It is also a great place for others to stop by and visit and cyber friendships, definately result.

Every success.

Hi Jeff!

You will do great, this is the best place to be...

As you have mentioned you are a former LCer and you know it works. You now have to realize that it is a WOL and not a fix to lose weight.

Get that journal going and I'll pop on in...

WELCOME JEFF!

Congratulations for making the decision to take control over your WOE. I know very well how difficult making that decision can be, and there are many wonderful people here to share with.

I hope during navigating this forum, you'll check out the Triple Digits Club . Really great people there and so much information and open sharing of experiences, challenges and successes!

Since you've already been proactive enough to post an avatar, I suspect you'll take the next step and begin a journal too.

I'm 5 months into this WOE (returned after losing 50lbs and gaining it, plus 30 more back) and I've lost 76lbs since January 5th. I feel great!

Looking forward to hearing more from you along the way.

Good luck and good health to you!

Donald

Default Thank God for another big fella

Jeff,

This is actually only my second day on this site and I have only posted one other time. I am so glad to see you here. Once you hit the 300lb. mark there are not too many other guys you can relate to. I am sure you will find great sucess. My best guess is that my heaviest weight was 360, but only God knows. After two months I am down to about 315. Hopefully we can enourage each other along our journey.

Best wishes.

Smile A big Hello from England

Dear Jeff

Just a few words to offer my support. I am new to the forum, but already I can see the support and friendship that it can supply.

Good luck with the weight loss - I myself have only just found the Atkins diet, but after 5 days and a weight loss of 8lb I know at last I've found the answer !!!!

Take care

Julie
