Talking Someone NOTICED!

Morning all! Happy Tuesday!

So...I'm coming into the office this morning and run into our Dietician (she's a vegetarian) and she says to me..."I've been meaning to catch up with you....I wanted to tell you how great you've been looking lately and can't help but wonder how much you've lost" So I tell her..."16 pounds"....as she rounds the corner with her bags and she shouts back..."That's wonderful!" LMFAO

I couldn't peel the smile off my face to save my life after. It was just the boost I needed. It's great to know that it's noticeable to others, especially those fixated on what others eat! (our nutritionist is very anti-atkins and has even been published speaking out against "fad" diets.. ...LOL, pro-food pyramid and also a vegetarian!)

Nicole

Nicole,

Congratulations on being 'noticed' & on your restraint in not rubbing her food pyramid-loving nose in it! LOL

I've lost 32 lbs. & I'm STILL waiting for someone outside the family to notice!

Cool Gee that's good!

It took a full 60lbs for anyone who didn't know I was on a diet to notice. I was starting to think it would never happen. But it was my own fault, I wore the same baggy old clothes for a long time after they were really too big. Once I starting wearing a few things that fit better that made the difference.

Congrats, wolfie, you are doing great!

Default Someone finally noticed me too!

Yesterday, I said noone had noticed my weight loss except my family & here today, I'm at my kids school & one of my fellow vols asks carefully if I had been losing weight. When I said yes, she then gushed about how great I looked.

Think wearing my new size 18 pants had something to do with it?

Good for you! Congrats! It's got to be great to hear it, especially from someone in the anti-Atkins camp! That's a real victory!

I'm still waiting for someone to notice, but then I haven't bought any new clothes and I guess I was always wearing baggy stuff, so now it just still looks baggy. Anyway, I'm sure looking forward to hearing it.

Great going, Nicole!

Cool Week 5 is done! Week 6 has just begun!

So, I'm starting week 6 today. The scale was happy to see me and reported a loss of 1.98 pounds for the week. So my grand total for 5 weeks is 17.6 pounds!!!!! I'm really satisfied with that and plan to stick with Induction for some time to come.

Wishing you all a pleasant Saturday!

Nicole
