Not sure but...
I haven't heard that a CKD is only for losing small amounts of fat, but I'm also new to this.
I have to carb up to keep from losing ground on weights/reps, much less advances.
Most of what I have seen about CKD have been people doing it for set time periods (8-12 weeks) pre-contest or to cut up for summer.
Having always seen it portrayed as something to do in a cycle with bulking, I guess I just didn't think about whether there are any indications against using it as a long-term plan. I know that it will probably take me to the end of the year to reach my goal.
I also haven't seen anything to indicate that a person wouldn't continue to lose BF (rather than pounds) as long as they follow it.
I guess those are the two questions to ask.
1. Is there any reason a person wouldn't continue to lose body fat as long as they follow a CKD?
2. Are there any indications that following a CKD for extended periods of time be harmful?
