Default Deep Fried Kale?

From a thread way way back there someone mentioned that they like Deep Fried Kale as a favorite LC food. Said it tasted like popcorn. Anybody out there have a recipe for that? Woould love to try anything that tastes like popcorn!!

Hi Metami,

I'm sorry I can't help you with your question, but I can explain why your post was moved here, and why your other duplicate post will be removed. It's just a matter of "housekeeping." Although you are posting a question, not a recipe, it is nevertheless a question about a recipe, and (I hope) someone will answer by posting the appropriate recipe for you.

Smile I think just do it, and cauliflower.

Forgot all about this. I use to do this alot (before I started on low carbs). My recollection is you just break the kale into pieces and deep fry, drain on paper towels and salt. I will try it again soon.

In the mean time, one of the best fried foods from Arabic cooking is deep fried cauliflower: break into flowerets, deep fry until brown, drain and salt. Different but right up there with popcorn.

I did try it and found it a bit bitter for my taste. I really need to try the cauliflower. I like that to start with! Thank you for the reply!
