This question is very unimportant in the scheme of things...but I do wonder about it from time to time.

When I copy a quote from someone, it comes out like this:

Wow, thanks for the information! I had been reading in...


I see other quotes that have in italics "original post by XXX" in the quote area. How does that get there? Is there something I'm not doing correctly?
