Default Question about # of Calories

Hey all, have a calorie question...............

I've been tracking my food on fitday.com and even after stuffing my face all day, however I'm hovering between 1,000 and 1,200 calories a day, keeping within my carb limit. I am losing weight, and exercising an hour a day. My question is am I hurting my weightloss by consuming the amount of calories that I am or should I just start cookin up a pound of bacon to add calories?

I have rolled ham/cheeses first thing in the morning, one deviled egg later on, a nice big chef salad for lunch, another deviled egg before heading out to the gym, and beef/chicken & vege for dinner. I'm definitely not hungry and I've never been a snacker. I"m also drinking tons of water

Any tips or advice?

Thanks,
C

Jonny Bowden (and I like him very much) says never to go below 1,250 or you will harm your metabolism. I would especially eat a bit more if you are exercising for an hour a day.

Are you still on Induction? If so, try adding a bit more fat to get your calories up. Maybe some butter and olive oil on the veggies.

Best of luck to you!

Have an ounce of nuts, that'll add almost 200 calories to your total right there. Plus, they're very nutritious.
