10 Days into the Diet
Hi, I'm 10 days into the diet, and I've lost 5 lbs. I won't feel like I've accomplished anything until I've gone down in jean size, though. I have also been exercising as well - yoga and walking. I know I need to add strength training, but have been too lazy thus far. I have kept up the yoga and walking though for 32 days straight. I need to get out and hike. I sometimes do a trail that is 3.5 miles long which takes me 1 1/2 hours. Has anyone had any experience with hiking while on this diet? My husband talked to a friend last night who is going to do the Appalachian Trail, and he knows of someone who lost 80 lbs that way.
Today, I cheated for the first time, but don't really feel too guilty. I had 3 pieces of Valentine's candy - total 13.5 carbs. By the time I do dinner, I will still have had under 25 - 30 carbs for the day. My keytone stip earlier tested about as purple as it can get.
Also, does anyone have any experience with the diet patch?
