Question Stuff to spice up meats

Hi,
I'm new to low carbing. Since BBQ and Teriaki sauce have lots of sugar how do you spice up meat. I don't even like meat or chiken that much but I especially don't like it plain. What do you guys do.
Thanks

Emeril Lagasse has a lemon, rosemary, & garlic sauce that I like to put on chicken & bake. He also has one of those essence spice combinations that work pretty well too. I also use fresh herbs too. Atkins has a BBQ sauce that isn't half bad, but it has Splenda.

Hi there......

I have a few favourite ways to spice up meats. One of them is to coat the meat (chicken breasts or wings) with Louisiana Hot Sauce. Most of it 'burns' off in the roasting, but it leaves just the right amount of tang. Another is to coat the meat in ground pepper. I literally blacken the meat before grilling. Once again....it mostly burns off in the grilling but leaves a wonderful flavour. The final one I enjoy, when I fry....is frying the meat in garlic butter...strips of beef or chicken work well with this.

HTH
