White Pizza, Simple!!
Made a white pizza tonight, it was awesome.
Used the Carbsense Pizza Crust, Garlic and Herb (12inch pizza)
Makes 6 slices
Ingredients:
1 Cup Spinach, Raw
1 Small Tomato, sliced or chopped
1/2 Clove of Garlic (less if you're not garlic crazy like me)
1/3 Cup of Alfredo Sauce (mine had 5 carbs per 1/4cup, gonna
find better next time)
1/5 Cups of Mozzarella Cheese
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
Spread your alfredo sauce on your pizza crust, add tomato, garlic, cheese and spinach (I sprayed my spinach with olive oil, sure olive oil pam will work as well). Bake at 350 until cheese is melted. At this point I coated the exposed crust with additional olive oil as well. (Could coat it before baking and add garlic/poppy/sesame seeds or whatever to crust for a flavored crust). Even my picky wife liked it!
Gonna find some lower carb pizza sauce, and make a regular pizza next time. Place I used to eat at nearby (Cinelli's) has a Siciliian Pizza, with fresh mozzarella and fresh herbs (oregano?) Hopefully I can recreate it to some degree=)
