Question Planning my Meals

Hi Everyone! I haven't started yet because I am reading the book now (I just got it yesterday).

I get that my carbs in the induction stage have to be 20 grams. I want to have 6 meals a day.

My question is for 3 of my meals can I have proten shakes and do I need to add carbs to that?

This is the breakdown of the Iso-Pro Low Carb shake(whey protein Isolate)

Nutrition Information:
1 scoop=35 grams per serving

Energy 131 calories
Protein 30 grams
Fat 0.6 grams
Carbs 1.4 grams
Sucralose 28 miligrams

Ingredients: cros flow microfiltered whey protein isolate, glucomannan, sucralose, alpha lipoic acid, D-pinitol, bromelain, natural and artificial flavours.

Add water /milk/juice.
I will add water

I was thinking 3 shakes plus 3 regular Atkins meals.
Is this shake okay?

Does this mean my carbs are 1.4g + 28 mg?
Or just 1.4 grams?

Should I add a carb when having the shake or should I keep the rest of my carbs for my meals?

Also how do you measure your salad? Do you use a scale? The 3 cups a day doesn't seem like that much. When I look at my measuring cup.

Also did you have physicals before you started? Did you do blood work? I am wondering if I should do all that before I start.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
