I'm type 2 and was on the ADA high carb/low fat diet for 3 yrs.
I gained 30 lbs, had fasting BS over 200, was always sick and got neuropathy in my feet.
I've been on Atkins for 1 1/2 years, lost 55lbs, have an A1c of 6, I had 1 cold that lasted 3 days and got the feeling back in my feet.
Now, they're saying Atkins is bad, WHY?
