I just starting eating in the 10x range this week. I was eating 12-13 before and gained weight. I thought because I was exercising hard, I could eat more.

The only difference I've noticed so far is, I got into ketosis the first day after carb-up. Probably because my fat is higher so I stay full.

I've determined that for me a good dieting range is 12 cal/lb of lbm, however, this requires at least 600 cal worth of cardio a day (i.e., subtract that).

Recently, however, I've gotten sick of doing it that way, and decided to try the good ol' days when I ate a lot but also was active a lot. Ramped up my running to doing 10x0.5-mile or 5x1.0 mile runs (fast) with 0.5-mile walking rests. Could not sustain this program on 12 cal/lb lowcarbing for longer than 3 days. I've long ago decided that overeating keto is stupid (doesn't replenish any strength, doesn't raise leptin, doesn't really satisfy), so I shifted to eating carbs beyond that. I've been eating carbs (2 lbs smarties or more) at least 7 days out of the last two weeks, haven't gained a damn thing and seemed to have cut up even more. But again... for me this requires running the damn sprints for two-three hours every day!

I eat about 10x and lose slowly. I'm thinking about dropping to 8-9 and see what happens. I'll continue TKD to maintain workout energy, and 400kcal cardio.
The confusing thing to me is this. If I'm adding weight every week consistently, am I therefore adding muscle mass? I can certainly feel changes in my musculature, and I can barely pinch any fat off my arms and legs. But the waistline dimension is very stubborn, hardly moving.

while on CKD I got around 2300-2400 which is below my 10x, but thats with a 20% cut, not including cardio.
