Wink low carb tortillas

Anyone else tried the lowcarb tortillas yet. I had one last week. It was not bad at all. I am going to use them for sandwich wraps and fish soft tacos, etc... 4 carbs each, that's not bad either and only about 75 cents more than the regular ones. Has anyone tried to fry them? I was curious about that. I am on induction right now so I do not think I shall have one for a couple of weeks. But planning my menu for when I am off induction.
Does anyone have experience staying around 20 carbs and eating alternate things during induction and loosing weight? Does any of that make sense?

off atkins for a long time
back to 152
trying again

I moved out of induction into OWL right after induction cause I didn't feel as though I was getting enough to eat. I lost weight well once I moved to OWL (actually better than during the induction). I used the carb ladder in the book but kept my carbs around 20 for an extra month because I never hit anywhere near 20 carbs during the actual two week induction. At the end of that extra month of 20 carbs a day, I raised my carbs by 5 weekly. My weight loss never really slowed down until I was at around 60+ carbs a day, and I was still losing, just slower.

edit<Oh I should add after the initial 2 weeks I DID add back LC breads. However, I had only a slice or 2 a week for a long time never a full sandwich for a couple months. I didn't want it to slow down my weight loss, but I never had a problem with it. The bars on the otherhand brought me to a standstill at one point.>

Yep, I had a wrap with one yesterday

I love having them in the house, but only use them maybe once every two or three weeks because I tend to overdo it and they do slow my loss to a crawl if I have them every day.

honestly i'm TERRIFIED to try anything bread-like for fear that it is going to make me want more more more! i think i have learned to control myself (i've done it so far with peanut butter- my favorite food of all time!) with food in general, but bread... oy, i don't know if i'm ready to try it. but man do i miss fajitas. i would LOVE to wrap some chicken and cheese up in a hot tortilla!

maybe i should just do it... decisions, decisions...

I use the low carb tortillas for wraps. When I do use them though, I cut them in half and only use 1/2. Today I made egg salad in a wrap and it was just what the doctor ordered!

I probably eat them 2 x a week.

The wraps don't slow me down. But that is if I eat 1 or 2 a week. They freeze well too
