Chicken broth, the way I make it, is carb-free. I just boil a chicken (or just a chicken breast...but whatever you use, it has to have the skin and bones on) in water for about an hour, then salt and pepper. You can add any vegetables that you want, really, but with just chicken-flavored water (sounds gross when I say it like that, huh?) you can sip it out of a mug and it's very satisfying. Add some saffron if you happen to have some.
