Talking good news on blood tests!

Just got back from the doctor and the blood tests are in -

Cholesterol - down from 225 to 180!
Triglycerides - down from 240 to 110!
Blood pressure - down from 130/85 to 110/72!!!

Only 2 pounds lost but.....
TSH (thyroid) was 6.9 Hopefully by starting on synthroid, my metabolism will get back to normal and maybe I'll start loosing a little more quickly.

Anyone else having success with thyroid meds?

FANTASTIC news on your blood work!! I love to see posts like this that remind me that it's not all about the weight! By the way, if you're not already, you might want to focus on the measurements, rather than the scale. I've found the scale does not tell the true tale. Also, I have a pant-o-meter that really helps me see the results--once a week, I try on an old pair of jeans that used to fit, and each week I get closer to wearing them again. This morning I got them buttoned and zipped, although I could hardly move!
